A little story
A little story about two internet friends who meet each other and fell in love. However, the girl was, unfortunately, dying. On her deathbed, the girl insist that the guy was to go out to get her a drink. Unknowingly, he agreed - then, the girl died. Although the time spent together was so short, they knew that it's something special.. Before she past away, she left him a little poem - the same poem that bought them together...
I would live forever to prove that I will be there as a friend in all your ups and downs,
Since I can't live forever, I will not be there as a friend in all your ups and downs.
I would swim the seven seas to prove that I know you very well,
Since I can't swim the seven seas, I do not know you very well.
I would defy gravity to show that we would get married
Since I can't defy gravity, we would not get married
I would pluck the many stars for you to prove that I'm your girlfriend
Since I can't pluck the stars, I'm not your girlfriend
I would turn the skies pink, purple, grey, blue, black and white to prove that I love you
Since I can't turn the skies pink, purple, grey, blue, black and white, I do not love you.
However, the skies do turn pink, purple, grey, blue, black and white ...
So naturally,
I do LOVE YOU
.... and ...
if I could live forever,
if I could swim the seven seas,
if I could defy gravity, and
if I pluck the stars...
